Wall tiling is fixing tiles to a wall in bathrooms, kitchens or feature areas. A good wall tile job starts from a flat, sound wall and a plan for the first row, because every later row follows it. Careful setting out, even spacing and neat cuts at corners and fittings are what make it look right.
Wall tiles are on show at eye level, so mistakes are easy to see: crooked lines, uneven joints, awkward slivers of tile at a corner and cuts that do not meet a fitting neatly. Most of these trace back to the start. If the first row is not level and the layout is not planned, the error carries up the whole wall.
We check the wall for flatness and soundness, plan the layout so cut tiles are balanced and corners land well, fix the first row level and then build up using the right adhesive and spacers. Cuts around sockets, pipes and niches are made carefully, and edges are finished with trims where needed.
