Many walls carry a history: a patched hole where a shelf was removed, a crack along a ceiling joint, a skim over an old repair. If these are not blended in properly, they show as ridges or patches under a new coat, particularly in raking light.
We fill and feather each repair, sand it flush and prime it so the paint takes evenly. Fine cosmetic cracks are filled and painted over, while wide or growing cracks may point to movement or moisture and are flagged before we paint.
